India’s First Electric Superbike by Emflux Motors
Bangalore based electric two-wheeler startup Emflux Motors to launch India’s first electric superbike Model1 at the AutoExpo2018. Model1 electric superbike will compete in the 600-650cc segment.
Emflux Model 1 is capable of 200 kmph and can 0-100 in mere 3 seconds. Powering the superbike are lithium-ion batteries by Samsung. It churns out a 50KW (67bhp) peak power and 84Nm of torque at 8400 rpm. According to ETAuto it is equipped with a 7″ touch TFT Display, GPS navigation, real-time vehicle diagnostics, auto updates, mobile app and bike-to-bike Connectivity.
The entire drivetrain technology, motor and motor controller, battery pack and battery management system i designed in house by Emflux. A single sided swing-arm gives enhanced strength to the rear axle, advance Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes, dual channel ABS and regenerative braking makes it stand out.
Emflux Motors Model 1 will be a complete superbike and will also have a naked version of the bike bound to be called Model 2 with two range options 150 Km and 220 Km.
Emflux aims to empower 10 million electric two-wheelers in India by 2025 withtwo-pronged market focuses. Firstly by building brand and loyalty by producing high-performance electric motorcycle and secondly by creating an ecosystem of the captive mass market two-wheeler manufacturers to whom we will become the technology and component supplier.
